This time I came to Beijing for business, I specifically choseZhongle Six Star Hotel Beijing. I had heard from a friend before that it is the tallest cylindrical building around Fangzhuang, which can be seen from afar. However, after actually staying there, I realized that not only is it highly recognizable, but the entire experience from check-in to check-out is much more reassuring than I expected.
Driving over is completely effortless. The navigation leads directly to the hotel entrance, and the doorman takes the initiative to help with luggage. The most surprising thing is that the hotel comes with a free parking lot, which solves the most troublesome parking problem when driving to Beijing. There is no need to search for parking spaces in the surrounding area or pay extra parking fees. It is very friendly to self driving travelers. After entering the lobby, the efficiency of the front desk check-in was very high. I casually mentioned that I wanted to stay in a higher room, and the staff directly upgraded it to a high-rise landscape room for free. They also specifically reminded me that the view of the 39th floor buffet restaurant is particularly good, and I can go up and have a look when I have time.
The first feeling when I open the door is openness and brightness. The space of over 50 square meters has no sense of cramped feeling at all. The curved window surface brought by the cylindrical building provides much better lighting for the entire room than ordinary square apartments. The most striking detail for me was that the charging cable was pre installed at the bedside, and I forgot to bring a charger that day. Simply plug it in and I can recharge my phone without having to borrow a power bank from the front desk. The room is well maintained. Although the hotel has been open for several years, there are no signs of aging or peeling on the furniture and bathroom. The cleaning is thorough, and there are no water stains on the bathroom countertop. The bedding feels fluffy and dry to the touch, and there is no dust accumulation on the edges of the carpet.
In the evening, I purposely took the elevator to the cafeteria on the 39th floor. The view out of the landing window suddenly spread out. From a 360 degree unobstructed perspective, the outline of the Temple of Heaven's Prayer Hall was clearly visible. Looking far away, I could even see the city lights in the direction of Tiananmen. The wind blew from the window, blowing away the tiredness of the whole day's journey. Downstairs is the mature living circle of Fangzhuang. Just a few hundred meters away from home, there are Quanjude and Jingwei small restaurants, convenience stores, and fresh supermarkets within walking distance. Walking 1.5 kilometers south is Yongdingmen, and 2.7 kilometers is Tiantan Park. If you want to take a walk after meals, you can easily find a good place to go.
When I checked out, the front desk specifically reminded me that it was easy to slow down during the morning rush hour at the parking lot exit, and pointed me to a small path to avoid congestion. Having stayed in so many hotels in Beijing, it is rare to come across a place that is so full of "convenience". There are no excessive marketing gimmicks of internet celebrities, but the space, view, parking, and surrounding facilities that guests care about the most are taken care of very thoughtfully. Next time I come to Nancheng for business, I will definitely consider Zhongle Six Star Hotel Beijing as my preferred destination.Show more
